Hi, my name is Louie and today I will be convincing you to have a healthy diet. Developing healthy eating habits isn't as confusing or as restrictive as many people imagine. The essential steps are to eat mostly foods that come from plants—vegetables, fruits, whole grains, beans, peas, lentils—and limit highly processed foods.
Having a healthy diet is key in life because if you don’t have a healthy diet the outcomes can be terrible, here are some of the things that can happen to you: obesity, tooth decay, you can become blind, diabetes, heart failure, heart problems and so much more bad things.
It’s alright to have sugar but too much can be very bad. What’s good about a healthy diet is the potential outcomes can be living longer, your fit, active and you can become muscle. One of the most common rules to having a healthy diet is to eat 5+ fruits and veg a day.
The New Zealand Nutrition Foundation aka ANZOS has helped so many people for keeping a healthy diet. The ANZOS has definitely with my speech because they are an organization that is based around keeping people mentally and physically fit and healthy.
33% of deaths annually are caused by heart disease, (It is the leading cause of death in New Zealand and includes heart, stroke and blood vessel disease).
Every 90 minutes A New Zealander Dies from heart disease, many of these deaths are premature and preventable.
What can we do to prevent heart disease? Don't eat too many chips or any unhealthy products. Don't drink too many unhealthy drinks because it’s just sugar and has no nutritional value for us and STOP the gaming because you can become obese if you don't burn off your kilojoules and calories that you have everyday.
